Dust describes multiplayer AI for human-agent collaboration: you connect company knowledge, tools and teams, then create, share and run agents. Your team builds the agents.[1] AI Setups sets up ready-made agents for SMEs with 2 to 100 staff, adapts them to the business and shows the team how to use them, for a fixed price per agent.

What Dust is, and where it shines

Dust is a platform for building AI agents on your company's knowledge. Teams connect sources such as Notion, Google Drive, Salesforce and Zendesk, then create agents and share them across the company. Its site lists teams in Engineering, Support, Sales, Marketing, Data, IT, Legal and People, and uses such as code debugging, ticket triage and draft replies, account research, proposal drafting, CRM hygiene and self-service analytics.[1]

Where it shines is building across a whole company. Dust lists 70+ connectors and 20+ models from OpenAI, Anthropic, Google and Mistral. It starts with a free seat. The Business plan is for teams of up to 100 people and offers US or EU data residency, and Dust states SOC 2 Type II. Dust says more than 3,000 organisations use it.[1][3]

What AI Setups is

AI Setups sets up ready-made AI agents for SMEs with 2 to 100 staff. We start with the Operations Agent, which answers questions about the business, writes reports and drafts routine work, and the Lead Gen Agent, which finds new B2B leads and writes personal emails every day.

We connect your systems, adapt the agent to how your business works and show your team how to use it. The agent works in Slack, WhatsApp and email, does the routine work and asks a person to approve before anything goes out. It costs €500 a month per agent, with a 3-month minimum and no setup fee.

Key differences

Who does the setup

Dust is a platform your team builds on. An admin connects the sources and, for Slack, enables the Slack bot, then people create agents and pick them in chat. Enterprise customers get dedicated customer success support.[1][2]

With AI Setups we do the setup. We connect the systems, adapt the agent to how the business works and show the team how to use it.

How you pay

Dust charges per seat. Pro is €24 per seat a month billed yearly or €30 monthly, with 8,000 credits per seat a month. Max is €120 yearly or €150 monthly per seat, with 40,000 credits. Credits reset each period. Prices are excl. VAT.[3]

AI Setups charges a fixed €500 a month per agent, with a 3-month minimum and no setup fee. The price does not change with the number of people.

Where it works

Dust works in Slack, where you mention @Dust or message the app, and through its own interface. We did not find Microsoft Teams or WhatsApp on its pages.[1][2]

AI Setups agents work in Slack, WhatsApp and email.

Data and hosting

Dust offers US or EU data residency on the Business plan and single-tenant hosting on Enterprise, with SSO and a DPA on Enterprise. It states SOC 2 Type II.[1][3]

At AI Setups, hosting and data are agreed per customer.

Pricing side by side

Pro[3] €24 per seat a month Billed yearly, 8,000 credits per seat a month. €30 per seat a month billed monthly

AI Setups, one agent €500 a month Fixed price per agent, 3 months minimum, no setup fee

Example: a company with 10 staff

A 10-person company on Pro pays 10 seats × €24 = €240 a month billed yearly, or 10 × €30 = €300 a month billed monthly. On Max it is 10 × €120 = €1,200 a month billed yearly. Prices excl. VAT.[3]

The same company with one AI Setups agent pays €500 a month, whatever the number of people. With two agents, €1,000 a month. Prices excl. VAT.

When Dust is the better choice

  • You want every team to build and share its own agents on internal knowledge such as Notion, Drive, Salesforce and Zendesk.[1]
  • You have someone who will build and maintain agents.[1]
  • You want US or EU data residency and SSO.[3]
  • You have a larger team, where about €24 per seat can cost less than a fixed fee per agent.[3]
  • You want to start on a free seat without a call.[1][3]

When AI Setups is the better choice

  • You want the agent set up and adapted for you, not built by your own team.
  • You want one fixed price per agent instead of per seat and credits.
  • You want the agent in WhatsApp as well as Slack and email.
  • You want Dutch or Swedish founders to talk to.

Switching, or using both

You do not have to choose one for everything. A company can let teams build their own agents on a platform and use a set-up agent for one process that has to run the same way every day, such as the weekly report or lead follow-up.

If you move from Dust to AI Setups, start with the one process you rely on most. We set that agent up first; you keep your own tools and accounts.

Where we run this ourselves

We run the same agents in our own companies. The Operations Agent runs every day at Remodius, the ecommerce brand Jim runs, and the Lead Gen Agent runs our own outreach on Rasmus's tools ListFixer, MailSpot and Leadster.

Questions.

Dust is a platform where teams connect company knowledge and tools, then create, share and run AI agents. Your own team builds and maintains the agents.

Dust is self-serve: your team builds the agents and you pay per seat. AI Setups sets up and adapts ready-made agents for you, for a fixed €500 a month per agent.

Choose Dust if you want teams to build and share their own agents on internal knowledge, you have someone to maintain them, and you want EU or US data residency.

On 31 Oct 2026 Dust's pricing page showed a Free plan with 500 credits in total, Pro at €24 per seat a month billed yearly or €30 monthly, and Max at €120 yearly or €150 monthly per seat. Enterprise is custom. Prices excl. VAT.

Yes. Teams can build their own agents on Dust, while an AI Setups agent runs one process that has to work the same way every day.

Today our agents work in Slack, WhatsApp and email. We did not find Microsoft Teams on Dust's pages either.
